In 2024, we witnessed a tremendous increase in interest in God’s Word on AudioVerse. The total number of messages listened to increased by over 25% from the year before—that’s on top of a 25% increase already from the year before. The level of interest is staggering and represents millions of new hits over the past few years.

Even more exciting is that the number of people who came back to listen to God’s Word four or more times a week increased by over 20% as well! While an occasional interaction with the Bible can still be life-changing, true transformation comes only through consistent and prolonged exposure to God’s Holy Word. That’s why we are so happy to see this important metric showing such healthy growth within our listeners.

One area that especially caught our attention is that amongst all the content types we have on AudioVerse, the audio Bible had by far the strongest interest in 2024. The number of chapters listened to in our audio Bibles increased by over 105% compared to the year before! That’s right, in 2024 twice as many chapters of the Bible were listened to by our listeners! People are hungering for the Word of God!

Everything we do at AudioVerse is focused on getting people back to the Word. To help them access it easier, to help them study it deeper, to help them understand it better, to help them apply it in their lives, and to help them share it with others. God’s Word is our mission!

This is why I am excited to share a big announcement today that is a big step in accomplishing this mission.

Many New Bibles Now Available

Then I saw that God knew that Satan would try every art to destroy man; therefore he had caused his Word to be written out, and had made his designs to man so plain that the weakest need not err. Then, after he had given his Word to man, he had carefully preserved it, so that Satan and his angels, through any agent or representative, could not destroy it. While other books might be destroyed, this holy Book was to be immortal. And down near the close of time, when the delusions of Satan should increase, the copies of this Book were to be so multiplied, that all who desired it might have a copy of God's revealed will to man, and, if they would, might arm themselves against the deceptions and lying wonders of Satan. – Spiritual Gifts, vol. 1, 116.3

What a powerful promise that the Book of Books will be multiplied at the close of time to arm God’s people against Satan’s deceptions!

This is exactly what AudioVerse wants to help accomplish—to multiply the availability of God’s Word to the world! So, I am thrilled to share that dozens of new Bibles are now available on the AudioVerse app!

There are now 18 total recordings of the Bible in English, including the New Revised Standard Version and the English Standard Version. Many users have told us how much they appreciate the dramatized readings of the Bible, and I am happy to share that we now have seven versions of the Bible available in dramatized form!

And for the first time, we’re also rolling out new audio Bibles in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Russian. Our goal over time is to bring the Bible to as many languages as we can.

To find the new Bibles, please download the latest version of the AudioVerse app on Android or iOS, and click the Bible icon. You can select the Bible version in the selector in the top right. (These new Bibles are available only in the mobile app for now, but we are working on making them available on the website very soon. This means if you haven’t already, now is a great time to download and start using our app!)
